Attending: Jen Isher-Whit, Michelle Madeley, Rochello Sparko, Bobi Gallagher, Eliza Bordley, Betsy Crites, Syril Murphy, Jared Cates

Forum Planning

  • Jared will send out a doodle poll to those who agreed to help with facilitation during the break out sessions
  • A Save the Date has been sent to the Task Force
  • A flyer will be developed by the end of the week in English and Spanish

Network Membership

  • Organizations can serve/have a delegate to the network
    • Have a letter or MOU
    • Explain to designee what their role is and can speak for the organization
  • Business membership- what would that look like?
  • Task force strongly recommends that all DFFN members participate in a racial equity/dismantling racism training within the first year of joining.

Coordinating Circle

  • Two members from each action circle (total of 8)
  • 9 at large members
    • 3 representatives from certain stakeholder groups
    • 3 representatives from the network
    • 3 representatives with certain skills
  • Coordinating circle will vote for chair, vice chair, treasurer, and secretary
  • Coordinating Circle will develop strategic plan for DFFN
  • Coordinating circle will meet quarterly
    • Working groups may meet more often as needed
